Breakup or separation is a hard phase in life. We feel very sad and depressed because of that. Our thinking process becomes negative and seems as if all hope is lost. However that is not important to feel such negativity for a longer duration. The longer we will suffer, longer we are becoming weak. People do not know how to recover and where to start after breakup. So what to do after a breakup/separation will be answered today.

What to Do After a Breakup/Separation ?

  1. Stop Self Blame, Blame the Chemicals : When the relation starts, we become always happy and everything seems lovable. That happens because of the emotional state of mind. We feel excited for the new relation and thus the happiness occurs. Similarly, during breakup we feel sad and depressed. We just feel sad and it does not mean that we are in depression. That's very normal and that's how our mind reacts.
  2. Body Check : Breakup makes us lazy and inactive. Both mentally and physically. We wish to just do nothing and remain dull whole day. It happens with most of us and the feeling of laziness increases if we won't take any action. Regular physical exercise is a must specially after separation. In order to think straight and healthy, we need to stay fit. Do regular exercise and keep negativity away.
  3. Remove & Replace : Our old memories with our ex need to get removed. Whatever source that may be, any photograph, any message, letter, anything. It has to be removed and in that empty space we need to fill with love of our family and friends. Since they are our true well wishers, their memories will always cherish us. Keep close such people who keep you close.
  4. To-Do List : Create a to do list for tasks which are really important. Their completion allows you to become more successful in life. This list may be of daily basis, weekly or monthly. As per your convenience create such list. When you will see a done tick before completed tasks then it will give you self inspiration. The motivation will make you do more and thus positivity will increase.
  5. Shake it Out : Different emotions occur in breakup phase. It is necessary that we vent those out. Best way to release sudden surge of emotions is to do some physical activity. A small walk, or a jog or any physical exercise which may be dance as well will help to ooze out the negative emotion.
