Waste of Time

Time is the most precious thing we get in our life. Every second counts and we need to make something productive out of it as well. Unknowingly we do lots of things in a day which make us less and less productive. They contribute in wasting our time. Which in the end results in development of anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia and similar psychological issues. The list comprises of several things we do on a repeat mode. These things not only waste our time but also affect our mental health. We also develop a bad image in the society. The list comprises of 8 things that are truly a waste of time.

Time Wasters:

  • We know that everybody knows this that watching TV is a time waster. Despite that we continue watching it everyday. It will not bring any success to our profession unless it's our work to watch TV and earn money. Instead of watching TV, invest that time on reading some book or learning something new.
  • If you are in a relationship where every everything seems boring then that's also wasting your time. You are wasting your time and other person's time as well. It is a time wasting experience which will drain your positivity out as well. Avoid or end such relations where you are feeling bored.
  • A person who believes that by solving other's problems he is doing something good. It is good when other person asks for your help but if they doesn't then its a time wasting thing. By solving other's problems every time you are not giving time for yourself and also making them too much dependent upon you. It will create a mental fatigue too early.
  • Arguments occur when two people aren't convinced with each other. It is okay to have an argument if the situation demands so. But sometimes arguments make us realise our flaws too. We should take anything new if available, from an argument. But if argument is made just to win from other person is again a time wasting thing. There is no need to argue with anyone just to make them feel small. This small ego satisfying activity is making us weak, negative and will also waste a lot of out time and energy.
  • We all want to make our parents happy. Doing something just for the sake of their happiness is grater than anything. But when do everything just for the sake of their happiness and our unhappiness then that's an issue. We are wasting out time to make a happy world for them. In real our parents stay happy when we are happy. They only want our happiness and with proper communication they will understand it too, if they weren't understanding earlier.
  • You had a chance in your life to change something but you didn't. It's okay! But constantly complaining about that missed opportunity is not okay at all. It means you are not enjoying your present. You are wasting your present time. That time will not come again but again you might complain about the missed opportunity of the present.
  • We sometimes create fake problems just to get out of real ones. You are not achieving anything out of it. By dealing with the real problems we are expanding our horizon. Instead of wasting more time, we have to look into the matter and come up with an outcome.
  • In current time of internet and social media interference, privacy is somewhere lost. If someone is not interested in us but we are again and again poking them, disturbing them is wrong. That is a huge time waster of the current generation. No need to force someone to love you back and for that you will waste lots of time. They will go father away from you and you may feel dishearten.
The points shared above waste a lot of our time. Knowingly or unknowingly we waste so much time and that is bad. This weakens our confidence and self esteem too. we develop several issues like stress, anxiety, depression, headaches, nausea, insomnia, alcoholism, smoking and many more. These issues leave a huge negative impact in our life. But we can avoid all that and start investing our time into more positive and constructive cause.
